Midday Dreaming |

I
like to watch clouds. I don’t look for animals or faces in them. I
just like to watch them. Sometimes they’re racing across the sky and
sometimes
they just hang there, seemingly motionless. But even then, if I watch
really
closely, they are slowly, constantly, changing shape. The colors change
during
sunrise as well as sunset. They change as a storm builds. They seem to
be
really high in the sky, yet, sometimes, against the mountains, I can
see that
they’re just a few hundred feet off the ground. They are always
distracting me.
If you ever see me looking up at all those ethereal shapes in the sky,
you know
you’ve caught me Midday Dreaming,
watching and thinking about
clouds. |
